Når Ove Pedersen sender sine tropper ud mod Kolding FC imorgen, er det truppens syvende testkamp, men samtidigt også den første mod et hold, de i det kommende forår skal konkurre mod i kampen om oprykning til Superligaen.
Derfor skal det også ses som en første test mod et ligesindede hold. Af samme årsag ville Ove gerne stille med stærkest mulige hold, men det kan ikke lade sig gøre i morgen.
“Vi havde håbet, at vi kunne stille med det stærkeste hold mod Kolding. Det havde været rart efter et par kampe, hvor vi tvunget af positive omstændigheder har måttet se bort fra landsholdsspillerne. Desværre er Jeremiah White og Michael Lumb ikke helt kampklare,” siger Ove Pedersen ovefor AGFfodbold.dk.
Som det fremgår af tidligere nyhed her på ForeverAGF.dk, må Ove bl.a. se sig nødsaget til at spille med Peter Foldgast på venstrebacken. Selvsamme Foldgast var iøvrigt med til at sænke Kolding FC med to pragtmål i de to klubbers seneste indbyrdes kamp, der endte med en overbevisende 4-1 sejr til AGF.
